Second Partner-Universities meeting in the frame of the international education TEMPUS project.
The representatives of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University took part in the second work meeting of the Partner-Universities in the frame of the international education EU TEMPUS project «Establishment of the Supra-Regional Network of the National Centers in Medical Education, focused on PBL and Virtual Patients» on June 3-4, 2013 in the University of Nicosia (Cyprus). The current results of the project working plans fulfillment in each Partner-University, the main difficulties of the project implementation and ways of further work optimization were discussed.
A very important task was set before Partner-Universities; namely to complete the development of the adapted curricula on the base of problem learning and virtual patients by the end of the month. The supervisor of the project Professor Terry Poulton (St George's University of London) appreciated the work of ZSMU on electronic library foundation and development of curriculum adaptation plans with account of the peculiarities of problem-based learning.
