Victory in the EU Tempus 5th call for proposals 2012!
Congratulations to all the students and Professors of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University on the victory in the EU Tempus 5th call for proposals 2012! This educational programme of the European Union supports the modernization of higher education and creates a space for cooperation in the EU partner countries through university projects. It is aimed at the voluntary approach of higher education systems in partner countries to the achievements of higher education in the EU countries.
Our University is a partner of the project "Establishment of the Supra-Regional Network of the National Centers in Medical Education, focused on PBL and Virtual Patients".
The main coordinator of the project is St. George's University of London. Our project partners are the Medical Institute of Sumy State University (Ukraine), Medical University of Astana (Kazakhstan), Karaganda State Medical University (Kazakhstan), the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), the University of Nicosia (Cyprus), David Tvildiani Medical University (Georgia), Akaki Tsereteli State University (Georgia).
The project is funded by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Union and estimated at 1.151.093 €.
The participation of partner countries provides for the creation of groups of students who will be trained under the programme of problem-based learning using virtual patients developed by St. George's University of London.
