"SAM: Ukraine" Program Implementation Begins
On November 6, the third online meeting was held within the framework of the Student Academic Mobility (SAM Ukraine) program (from the EU House of Europe program) with the support of the British Council in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. During the meeting, participants discussed the completion of descriptive and financial reports, as well as those universities that have already conducted mobility shared their impressions.
Thus, the meeting was attended by 20 universities-winners of the "SAM: Ukraine" program. The results and challenges of the program were shared by the Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky Hrihoriy Skovoroda State Pedagogical University and Vasyl' Stus Donetsk National University that managed to exchange students before the quarantine regime was strengthened.
The program coordinators explained the mechanism of action in case of mobility during quarantine restrictions and the peculiarities of reporting, both financial and descriptive.
In general, the participants of the program, who have already conducted the mobility, are satisfied with the results, as well as their students, who had the opportunity not only to study the same program by other methods, but also to get acquainted with the region. ZSMU and BSMU, in turn, have already held a competition among candidates, selected the winners, and are compiling documents and agreements for the implementation of mobility in the spring of 2021. We hope that the winning students will be able to gain this invaluable experience.
