Meeting of ZSMPhU Administration

In the first week of operation of the new higher education institution, Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University, 185 lectures were delivered. Information about the progress of the educational process was heard today at the meeting of the Administration, which was headed by Professor Yuriy Kolesnyk, Acting Rector of the university.

Significant changes have taken place at the university in the field of postgraduate education. Thus, five more ZMAPE departments were added to the seven departments of ZSMU, and the faculty itself became an Educational and Scientific Institute of Postgraduate Education, the contingent of interns and trainees increased, accordingly, the variety of continuous professional development activities expanded.

One of the main issues discussed at the meeting was the completion of the reorganization, preparation for the licensing of educational programs, accreditation of specialties and the Medical Vocational College, as well as preparation for the 2023 admissions campaign and the organization of Open Days for future entrants.

The attestation of the students has been completed and the preparation for taking the USQE is currently underway, as was reported by the deans of the faculties.

At the meeting of the Administration, a number of other issues were considered, in particular, updating the necessary documentation, the status of payment for educational services, and the incidence of COVID-19.
