Expanding the horizons of international cooperation, ZSMU representatives took part in the All-Ukrainian Round Table "European Union after Lisbon Treaty: from Three-Point Structure to Constitutionalism" within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module "Politics of European Integration: Historical Retrospective and Modernity".
The event was moderated by Olena Chumachenko, Associate Professor, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology and History of Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University, Academic Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Modules.
Among the main points of discussion were the definition of the role of the Lisbon Treaty in the legal consolidation of human rights in the European Union and the analysis of the dynamics of Ukraine's relations with the EU after its conclusion.
Leading Ukrainian scholars focused on the need to adapt Ukrainian legislation to European standards, as well as on the analysis of further prospects for security innovations for higher education institutions in the current context of Russian military aggression.
