On 9-11 November a consecutive meeting of the TAME project team took place in Hanoi, Vietnam. An associate professor of the infectious diseases department Olena Furyk and inspector of the dean’s office of the international faculty No2 Olena Filatova participated in this event.
After the inclusion of "Zaporozhye Medical Journal" into the scientometric database "Web of Science" our journal appeared in the libraries of the leading universities, including the most prestigious ones like Yale and Cambridge.

The Administration of Zaporozhye State Medical University congratulates 813 students with the graduation!
During this June Dr. Pranam Singh, Professor from Delhi University, taught students anatomy and surgery. 1st-6th-year students of English medium of instruction had the opportunity to attend the classes.
In June, 2016 Ukrainian representatives visited Colombo, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, to establish connections and cooperation between Zaporozhye State Medical University and Central Institute of Science & Technology (Colombo, Sri Lanka).
Zaporozhye State Medical University joined ECV (Electronic System of Credentials Verification) in the frames of the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). The above-mentioned Commission assesses the readiness of graduates of medical institutions of the world to be admitted to the residency or scholarship programs in the United States of America that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
According to Ukrainian State Center of International Education Zaporozhye State Medical University took the fourth place in the ratings of medical universities and it is in the top 10 of the most popular Ukrainian universities among foreign students.
Center for medical rehabilitation and prevention is established at the premises of Hostel №3 of ZSMU. It is aimed at improving the quality of preventive services, rehabilitation and medical assistance provided to the employees and students of ZSMU.

ZSMU diploma is recognized by Medical Board of California
Good news came from California: Medical Board reviewed documentation submitted by Zaporozhye State Medical University. The Board has determined that Zaporozhye State Medical University meets the criteria for recognition of the medical education.
Graduates of ZSMU are now eligible to apply for a California Postgraduate Training Authorization Letter (PTAL) or a Physician’s and Surgeon’s Certificate.
The Board will add Zaporozhye State Medical University to its list of recognized medical schools.
