Master class on PBL in the frames of TAME project
On 4-5 February 2016 Zaporizhzhia State Medical University held a master class on problem-based learning for tutors from Bukovinian State Medical University in the frames of “TAME – training against medical error” project of Erasmus+ program.
ZSMU trainer of tutors Cherkovska Olga (trainer certified by St. George University, London) made a presentation of problem-based learning technology. She described the special features of PBL, its structure as well as the role of a tutor and a student in this methodology and the difficulties they may face. Each participant had an opportunity to take part in the tutorial in the role of a student to better understand the principles of PBL from the student’s point of view. During the second day the training session with students was conducted. Roman Duzenko case was given in OpenLabyrinth and each participant performed the role of a tutor under the supervision of the trainer. They also discussed difficult issues and results of the training. By the end of the master class all participants received participation certificates of ZSMU.
