3rd International Conference on Medical Education Informatics
The development of medical education is closely linked to the development of modern technologies.
On September 6 and 7, the 3rd International Conference on Medical Education Informatics was held.
The conference was organized by professors of the Leeds Institute of Medical Education at the University of Leeds and professors of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
During the conference, participants took part in various sessions and workshops on the impact of digital technologies on education, medicine and human health. Invited guests from England, Ireland, Canada, Greece, Spain, Austria shared their experience in implementing the latest technology and teaching methods.
The conference focused also on medical errors. This topic was revealed by professors from St. George’s University of London, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Masaryk University, Astana Medical University, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hanoi Medical University, Bukovinian State Medical University and Zaporizhzhia State Medical University. Representatives of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Olena Furyk, and Officer of the International Relations Department, Alona Pavlenko, reported on the results of the implementation of D-BPL with virtual patients method within the discipline "Surgery" mastering and on qualitative analysis of mastering the discipline "Pediatrics" within the framework of the grant project "TAME " at ZSMU.
All participants received valuable experience and certificates of participation in the conference.
