All lectures, practical exercises and consultations are conducted. This is a bit unusual for both students and teachers, but the first feedback from students is very good.
At the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics on a timetable today were held both lectures and practical classes. Associate Professor Maxim Kozhemiako tells us:
- For technical equipment we use the appropriate software Office 365 (Teams), Viber, Telegram, AO Surgery Reference, online courses in traumatology and orthopedics on the eDx platform. We monitor students' attendance at online classes and grade them using tests based on Google Form, all results are registered and saved.
However, so that all staff of the university could safely and confidently work remotely and use a variety of online education tools, the great merit of the Department of Medical and Pharmaceutical Informatics and modern technologies under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Professor Alexei Ryzhov. They not only developed a distance learning strategy, but also trained colleagues from other departments to work with a variety of tools and programmes, as well as quick technical response and advice. They respond quickly and professionally, and provide advice in person, both by telephone and online.
The result is therefore positive.
