The third year in a row the department of language training cooperates with the Zaporizhzhia regional Centre of Indian Culture "Bharat". This year Indian students of our university, having responded to the proposal of the director of the center Abdulli Al-Mahviti-Karmeluk, took part in the competition of drawing "Mysterious India".
During the first stage, in December last year, boys and girls with love and inspiration reproduced in the paintings the nature and architecture of their native places, portraits of fellow citizens, religious images, state symbols of their country. All works radiate light energy and sincere feelings. The drawings decorated the exhibition at the department of language training. For participation in the final stage were selected 16 artworks.
In addition to Indian students, Zaporizhzhya's schoolchildren also participated in the contest. The jury, along with teachers of art schools in Zaporizhzhia, also included students of the 4th year of the 2nd International Faculty of Jitin Raj and Pidikayilakath Cheriya Mohammad Adhil.
The ceremony of awarding the winners took place in the Centre of National Cultures of Zaporizhzhia regional scientific library, it was timed to the celebration of the Day of the Republic of India.
The artworks of the students of our university charmed all those who watched them and received a worthy recognition. The Grand Prix of the competition was awarded by the organizers to Dana Satkhviti, a 2nd year student. At the request of Abdullah Al-Mahwit, the girl presented her painting to the Bharat Centre.
Another Grand Prix - on behalf of the jury - was awarded to a first-year student, Bhat Pritviraj. The first place was taken by the competition work of the 3rd year student Dudekula Mohammad Ibrahim, the third - by the 2nd year student Sughadev SRID.
The winners of the contest were awarded with thanks from the Department of Culture, Tourism, nationalities and religions of the regional state administration, "Bharat" certificates, they also received gifts. All participants of the contest, who did not become prize-winners, were awarded with certificates of "Bharat".
The cultural program of this event was decorated by student Dudekula Mohammad Ibrahim, who sang Ukrainian and Indian songs.
Our students enjoyed the holiday and were inspired to continue their creative work, which will certainly help them in their self-development. The deputy on the educational work of the head of the department Svetlana Gnatenko, the senior teacher Lyudmila Danylenko and the curators of the groups actively participated in organizing and conducting the competition.
