Nowadays medical education at higher institutions meets a range of reforms that could negatively impact its quality. It is about access to a clinical base and patients for students, interns, course participant and even for professors. Due to new Law regulations at the National Health Service of Ukraine could be registered only workers of health care institutions. But at these law regulations, there are no marks concerning academic teaching staff of medical universities.
It could lead to very bad consequences. So, to change the situation The Rectorate of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University takes whatever action is possible within its capacity.
They prepared and range of eclaircissement, and even made draft amendments to regulatory documents that were presented to the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, members of parliament, the field-oriented committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
At the previous was held working session at The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine in the presence of deputies of the minister, Andriy Semyvolos and Dmitriy Koval’, member of parliament Oksana Dmytrievna and experts of The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine, who are specialized in the reformation issues. There, Rector of ZSMU, Yuriy Kolesnyk settled the issues and proposed ways of solutions. Participants of the meeting got a package of documents concerning changes at legislative and regulatory acts that were worked on at ZSMU.
ZSMU also was an initiator of the organization of online-meeting with the participation of all medical institutions of higher education. The purpose is to discuss proposed documents and finding a united decision for finding a way out of important issues.
