The training "PRO-Heart" was held at ZSMU

Today was held simulation training on the basis of the interdepartmental training center of ZSMU. The training was dedicated to mastering practical skills in basic electrocardiography and cardio sonography for children treatment. The training is called "PRO-heart". This event was held within the program of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine for continuous professional development for doctors. At the training participated paediatrist, General practice and family medicine, cardiorheumatologist for children treatment and doctors of other specialties from health care institutions of Zaporizhzhia,who are eager to improve their practical skills and knowledge in basis of functional diagnostics at children cardiology.

Specialists of our university who are specialized in pediatrics, cardiorheumatologist for children treatment, electrocardiography and cardio sonography, staff members of Children Diseases Department of Faculty of Post-graduate Education under the control of Lyudmyla Boiarskaia who is the head of the department, professor, Head of Pediatric Association at Zaporizhzhia region.Olena Podlianova who is Assistant of the department,cardiorheumatologist for children treatment and ultrasonographer,Olena Podlianova who is the Associate Professor of the Department, doctor of functional diagnostics and cardiorheumatologist for children treatment, Sergiy Potapenko, who is the Associate Professor of the Department, cardiorheumatologist for children treatment and ultrasonographer.

When Professor Ludmyla Boiarska commented on the training process she said that The Training Center of our university is without exaggeration the best place for training not only students, interns and practical doctors of our region. As its classes are equipped with all the necessary technical equipment for training of ECG monitoring, conducting of Doppler echocardiography, modern dummies, and interactive simulation system “Virtual Patient”. Thanks to these technologies participants have learned how to understand and interpret basic indicators of Doppler echocardiography machine, record and decode the ECG, diagnose the most common abnormalities of heart rhythm and conductions in children.
