Recently, Mrs. Harminder Pal Kaur, a guest from the far Republic of India visited Zaporizhzhia State Medical University. The woman decided to overcome the long journey to meet her daughter, Jaskirat Kaur, who studies at the university. Of course, she missed her daughter, and even though she was in constant contact online, as a mother she had to see her child in person to be sure that she was okay. The girl, a first year student, began to confidently strive to the cherished goal of becoming a doctor. To feel more confident on the trip, the mother took her younger son, Jaskirat Sing, who is still a schoolboy, dreaming to become an engineer in the future, and wanted to visit Ukraine.
When the family met, the daughter immediately led her mother and brother to university. The guests visited educational buildings, a student hostel where Jaskirat Kaur lives, as well as an Indian cozy cafe. Mrs. Harminer Pal Kaur also visited lecture halls, the Anatomical Museum of the university, the Training Center and the Indian Cultural Center, where they felt like at home, when a group of Indian students came to spend hours of leisure here.
After this the mother's heart calmed down, her daughter, albeit in a foreign country, but among good people, is safe, learns and lives in comfortable conditions. She was pleased to learn that the girl is diligent and has good results in her studies. They will certainly tell their relatives in their homeland about their good impressions from ZSMU.
