The ZSMU Foreign Citizens Training Center intensively implements various interesting forms of training in order to adapt future students to the Ukrainian language as effectively as possible. For instance, one of the Ukrainian classes was held in the format of a lesson-intellectual game in the Moroccan Center.
The class was prepared and conducted by the FCTC teachers Nina Kuida and Larysa Sira. The class covered culture, traditions and customs of Morocco. The students had to solve five tasks of different difficulty levels. The team members recalled folk traditions, customs, Moroccan rites, developed creative abilities, thus emphasizing the feeling of national pride and dignity for their home country. The intellectual game was very pleasing to all the listeners, and teamwork helped them get better together.
Another event at the Foreign Citizens Training Center has become apparent on the background of academic weekdays. It was the traditional Ukrainian language Olympiad. 30 foreign students from different countries of the world participated in the competition. They were prepared and organized by senior lecturers Lidiia Haiduk and Halyna Manaieva, and teacher Iryna Novikova.
It should be noted that foreigners showed a high level of linguistic knowledge and proved that they are well educated. All participants confirmed their excellent results during the winter session.
The winners of the Olympiad were awarded with diplomas and certificates, which they proudly show to groupmates, friends and parents.
