Representatives of the foreign communities visited the Department of Pharmacology and Medical Formulation

It is always nice to find someone of your nationality in a foreign country when you are young and you are far from your home. Students who come to ZSMU from abroad to receive higher medical education are not deprived of attention as they immediately enter a friendly student community. They are surrounded by tutors and friends at all stages of their training.
These days a meeting of the academic staff at the Department of Pharmacology and Medical Formulation took place with representatives of foreign communities of Zambia, Uganda, Colombia, Namibia, Zimbabwe who are studying at the University. Young people were warmly welcomed by the Head of the department Professor Ihor Bielenichev, his deputy on educational work, Associate professor Oleksandr Tykhonovskyi. The topics of confidential conversation, first of all were dedicated to living conditions, educational process, relationship among students. 
Professor Ihor Bielenichev told the representatives of the foreign communities about the peculiarities of training at the department, noting that the academic staff is always ready to assist students in mastering the disciplines. Academicians of the department offered assistance during the period of preparation for the standardized state licensing exam KROK-1 as well as assistance during the analysis of the tasks of KROK-2 that contains structural fragments of pharmacology.
Associate professor Oleksandr Tykhonovskyi shared plans of cultural and educational events that are supposed to be arranged for foreign students. He told about the history of Zaporizhzhia region, proposed to organize leisure activities together, for instance to go to a theatre and to assist at the circus performance.
The meeting at the Department of Pharmacology and Medical Formulation turned out to be interesting both for representatives of foreign communities and academic staff. Friendly relationship based on warm support will lead to mutual understanding and successful joint work.
