Vaccination is recognized worldwide as the most effective mean of coronavirus preventing.
The fifth stage of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign will start on July 21, 2021.
Everyone over the age of 18 will be able to get vaccinated starting from tomorrow. The priority is given to people over the age of 60 and people with comorbidities, as well as educators.
Experts of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine consider the growth of three key epidemic indicators: the number of positive PCR tests (by 16.6%), new hospitalizations (by 4.9%) and newly registered cases (by 7.3%) ) as the main epidemic threats. There is a threat of an "explosive rate", similar to the spread of the "Delta" strain in some countries.
Thanks to the vaccination it is possible to prevent COVID-19 infection or avoid its complications.
The university administration invites staff and students to sign up for vaccination, which is scheduled on the second of August at the Center for Medical Rehabilitation and Prevention (dormitory №3).
