The slogan of the World Federation of Neurology: "Our brain is our future" speaks succinctly about the importance of brain health, and also about the need for research into brain diseases and methods of treatment.
World Brain Day has been celebrated for seven years. This event was proclaimed by the World Federation of Neurology in 2014. It is worth paying attention to WHO statistics on the spread of brain pathology (cerebrovascular disease, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and others) and you immediately understand the importance of brain health prevention. It is very easy to get. One has to meet basic requirements, including mental load; blood pressure correction; physiological night sleep; avoidance of stressors; moderate physical activity; abstinence from alcohol and smoking; proper nutrition.
Unfortunately, preventive measures are not always sufficient. With the spread of new diagnostic methods and improvement of existing, Today, doctors are able to more deeply and thoroughly study the pathology of the brain thanks to the development of new diagnostic methods and improvement of the existing ones. This allows you to develop new kinds of treatment.
