To practicing doctors about emergency cases
Simulation training "Emergencies in the practice of the doctor: cardiovascular problems" is held today based on the Interdepartmental Training Center of ZSMU. The training is attended by nine practitioners of the health care network of the city and region. The training was organized by the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the University within the requirements of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on issues of continuous professional development of doctors.
The moderators of the training are Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Serhiy Vorotyntsev and Assistant of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Iryna Skoba.
The organizers aimed to deepen theoretical knowledge of the participants and develop their practical skills in providing of emergency medical care in emergencies that the practicing doctor can run into in the various fields of medicine. The main emphasis was placed on such an important factor as the teamwork experience in providing emergency care.
Simulation training is conducted based on the Interdepartmental Training Center of ZSMU, that is the most modern center for such skills practice in Zaporizhzhia. The head of the center is Kateryna Romanova who is the Assistant of the Department of Internal Medicine and Stimulation Medicine. She has said that the participants are working with cardiopulmonary resuscitation dummies, a resuscitation simulator for self-training, a mannequin of an adult man torso for cardiopulmonary resuscitation with light indicator. They are also using a patient simulator with a 12-channel ECG simulation HAL S1020, adult head models for tracheal intubation, dummies for airway patency ensuring in adults. Doctors are working with interest on the latest models of additional equipment as: BIOMED BE600,training automatic external defibrillator , Powerheart G5-1, oropharyngeal artificial airway ,automatic external defibrillator , hand model for intravenous injection, peripheral intravenous catheters and other equipment.
It is interesting and useful for all participants to train. They acquire new skills and get acquainted with the algorithm of actions as well as the equipment of modern models, and get to know with the help of which person the emergency care has to be provided nowadays.
