The permanent contingent of foreign students at the University is the result of a comprehensive approach and systematic work of all departments of ZSMU. Advertising campaign, professional orientation work, meetings with parents and potential entrants (this year — remotely), development and implementation of distance online courses to prepare future entrants for further education, uploading videos about the institution in foreign languages to the official YouTube channel — all this allowed the University to maintain the interest of foreign citizens in ZSMU regardless of the difficult recruitment conditions during a pandemic situation.
As of today, about 3,200 foreign students from 37 countries study at ZSMU, including 164 people studying at the International Faculty No. 1 (pre-university stage of study). The largest number of students came to study from India, Nigeria and Morocco. The number of Indian citizens enrolled in studies in 2020-2021 academic year is more than 300 people.
We congratulate foreign students and wish them success in mastering the profession of a doctor.
