The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of India in Ukraine Manoj Kumar Bharti visited Zaporozhye State Medical University on April 5.
The Rector of ZSMU, professor Yuriy M. Kolesnyk told to the honorary guest about more than 40 years history of cooperation of ZSMU with India in training of medical specialists. Now the University has 800 students from India training at ZSMU.
“We are interested in admitting clever students, because they will become excellent students. Besides, 83% of our Indian graduates confirm their diplomas in Medical Council of India,” the Rector said.
The parties discussed the prospects of postgraduate education and online enrollment of future students from India.
The Ambassador got acquainted with the material resources of the University and campus.
During a meeting with Indian students Manoj Kumar Bharti proposed to organize celebration of the International Day of Yoga on June, 21 and promised to sponsor this event with printed products.
