Make Declaration with Family Doctor

Employees and students of the University make declarations with family doctors at the Medical Rehabilitation and Prevention Center of ZSMU. The procedure is very important, because in the modern health care system only cooperation with a family doctor opens the opportunity to receive a number of free medical services in public and some private medical institutions.

"In order to bring medical services as close as possible to University staff and students, the Administration of ZSMU initiated the procedure of making declarations at the University Medical Rehabilitation and Prevention Center," said Nataliia Volokh, Head of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Physical Education and Health. "Every day from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. this procedure is performed by a nurse of the Primary Health Care Center No. 10, which works on the basis of the clinic of the City Hospital No. 6.

On the first day, seven people made such declarations. We strongly recommend anyone, who for some reason has not yet chosen a family doctor, to do it now, with maximum time-saving, without interruption of a work or study process. After all, only under the direction of a family doctor you can get free outpatient care in the form of consultations and various types of diagnostics. It is worth considering the fact that COVID is now widespread among the population, and referrals for diagnostic tests in case of suspected lesions can also be obtained only from a family doctor. He also monitors the vaccination schedule and refers for free vaccinations at the right time, which is especially important for maintaining the health of students.

Currently, the Center is undergoing a medical examination of freshmen, those who live at home or rent an apartment. We also invite all first-year students to make declarations with family doctors (or re-register them) while studying at the University. To do this, you need to visit the Center, carrying a passport, taxpayer identification number, mobile phone."
